Can this be trimmed?
It is not recommended to trim this stove board. The mineral board under the sheet metal can be brittle and would continue to deteriorate. Especially with weight on top of it.

Well made stove board
The board shipped quickly and arrived double-boxed. This protected it well. I had some concerns about such a large flat object surviving unscathed in the shipping process, but it did!
The black on the stove board is a deep black that looks good under my stove. It is flat. I placed a sheet of felt under it to protect the epoxy floor surface underneath from scratching.
