The specs say the diameter is 6 inches, but the product is oval and ovals have two diameters. Which measurement is this 6 inch for?

The actual measurement of this venting is 12" x 3.75". This allows the same flue surface area as a 6" round diameter and is used when transitioning from a round component to an oval while needing to maintain the same surface area.
