Why is the door sold separately?

The MF Fire Nova Catalytic Wood Burning Stove has three choices of doors. Most woodstoves and other hearth products are sold ala carte when there are choices of components. Some components like the blower will be optional. With this stove, there is currently only one leg system offered, but it is also required as an additional item.

MF Fire products are made in Smithsburg, Maryland, however, please note that the product in question is simply a door that must be selected when purchasing the complete stove that we offer here.

How many sq ft will it heat up? How long of wood can go in? How much does it weigh? Is it safe to load wood while the fire is going?

This unit will accept an 18" log, heat up to 1,500 square feet and weighs 355 pounds. You can load the fireplace with fresh wood while the fire is burning.
