No. This unit would need to be framed and have a finishing material adhered to the face of the completed wall.

Is it possible to add any type of hood or heat deflector to this fireplace?
After speaking with the manufacturer, it appears that the Courtyard fireplace does come with a small "eyebrow" that looks like a hood. It sticks out about 3/4" from the top of the fireplace opening.

Is the flame height adjustable or is there only one setting?
This unit is rated for only 53,000 BTU (propane) or 55,000 BTU (natural gas), so there would only be one flame height option.
