Can a glass front be added to this unit?

No, the only door option for this fireplace is the cabinet-style screen doors. There is no glass door option for this unit.

If indoor and outdoor ventless fireplaces work the same way, why can't this one be an indoor unit?
1 Answer
The only requirement for an indoor woodburning fireplace unit that disqualifies an outdoor model for use indoors is a damper. While this model is not listed for use indoors, the very similar Superior WRE3000 series can be used indoors.

Yes, this is an outdoor vent-free gas fireplace system that includes the box, brick liner, burner and log set. Please note that the stainless steel doors shown in the photo are optional and must be purchased separately if desired.
