The MRCOOL 5kW Heat Kit is a cool add-on that boosts your air handler. It's built to play nice with VersaPro and Hyper Heat 2nd Gen models, including the 18, 24, 30, and 36k BTU sizes. This kit has a heating capacity of 5kW, and uses the newer R-454B refrigerant. It's designed to run on 230V, and you'll want a 30.0 max fuse breaker. Make sure your circuit can handle at least 27.0 amps, too. Adding this kit gives you extra warmth when things get chilly. It's a straightforward way to amplify your comfort setup and improve things.
Please Note: This unit is not designed for amateur installation. Installation should be performed by an authorized technician for best results.
