I need a cooling-only unit to replace a mini-split, according to the building inspector.
This wall-mounted air handler is the indoor unit of a heat pump system. All outdoor condensers offered that pair with the MRCOOL Olympus 9K BTU wall-mounted air handler are heat pump models, and we do not currently have a cooling-only condenser that pairs with it. We apologize that this does not meet your building inspector's requirements. If you can share the square footage of the space and whether you need a wall-mounted ductless replacement or would consider a different installation type (such as through-the-wall or ducted), we would be happy to explore cooling-only options that could work for you.

This air handler is a heat pump model, providing both heating and cooling. It requires a compatible MRCOOL Olympus outdoor heat pump condenser for operation, which is sold separately. The MRCOOL Olympus E Star Series manual confirms its dual functionality.
