Capable of up to 18,000 BTU's in either natural gas or propane, this stunning fireplace can heat things up as a secondary heat source for your home.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 4" inner diameter.

Could you please provide pricing for the following accessories: 1) A remote control with a thermostat, that also offers nice flame and blower control. 2) A quiet blower. 3) 20 feet of flex duct for venting, along with a roof vent kit suitable for asphalt shingles.

Is it preferable to vent this unit through the wall to the outside or through an existing non-masonry type chimney "Shell", which previously housed a lined metal flue for a wood stove?
For performance and ease of installation, I would suggest venting this unit out of the wall.

Great Napoleon Fireplace, Minor Trim Hiccup
This Napoleon Ascent Linear Gas Fireplace was a fantastic addition to my home, and I'm very pleased with the final look and performance. While installation was manageable, I did need to clarify a detail about trim accessories, but once that was resolved, the project went smoothly.
