We cannot recommend doing this as there is no listed floor protection requirements (either in size or R-value) that we can safely recommend for a protective base.

Seems well made
Received quickly. Inspection showed no flaws. Good looking. Good heavyweight. Love the large water drain hole. Unfortunately due to very windy and rainy weather we have not been able to actually use it yet.. Can't give 5 stars until the durability is tested.

Heavy weight steel plating. Should give it a long lifespan.
Large drain hole for water removal.
