Is the layer of block on which the 42 burn plate sits recessed to allow the next layer of block to sit flush, or will there be a small gap between those 2 layers of block due to the thickness of the burn plate?
The blocks are not recessed and a small gap will occur on the inner part of the block that will not be noticeable on the outside perimeter.
