Can the Osburn Inspire sit on a bench as in the photo?
This stove can sit on a fully non-combustible hearth, as shown in the photo, but that will need to meet the floor protection requirements as stated in the manual.

Is there a lip available to prevent live coals from falling to the floor in the Inspire 2000? How can its overnight burn be controlled to ensure a fie can get restarted in the morning?
There is an ash lip at the bottom of the firebox opening to prevent hot materials from falling out of the stove. Starting on page 21 of this manual, there are great instructions on the operation of the stove, including loading, burn down, and reigniting.

Bridget D. from 73007 asked:
Can we expect to get much heat that transfers into the bedrooms of the house if we were to run a circulating fan?
Can we expect to get much heat that transfers into the bedrooms of the house if we were to run a circulating fan?
It can sometimes be difficult to push the heat from the stove around corners and down hallways to bedrooms. During the construction phase, it would be advisable to have the HVAC company install a return air duct in the same room as the stove, then you would be able to run the fan on the HVAC system to help distribute the heat from the stove throughout the house using the HVAC system.
