    How does this work?
    1 Answer
This brush is designed to be used from the top down, and the loosened creosote drops down into the fireplace or wood-burning appliance. You would still have to sweep up and remove the creosote.

How do I measure my chimney to decide what size of sweep is needed?
    1 Answer
This is most easily done by measuring across your flue opening. A flue that is 6" in diameter requires a 6" brush.

My metal flue is 6" do you have to use a 6" round or square brush?
    1 Answer
It is best to match your brush to the shape of your flue pipe. If your pipe is round, go with a round one.

    Poly chimney cleaning brush
I'm very happy with this brush. Have always used a steel brush for a clay flue. But had a fireplace insert installed with a steel liner. And the installer said I needed a poly brush to clean the flue. I ordered it online and received it in a couple of days. It works great I think it's better than a steel one.
More flexible than a steel one. Pulling in and out of the flue. Good product.
