Product Details
This sealant is appropriate for any situation that requires a permanent elastic rubber seal. It will withstand high temperatures, remaining continuous flexible up to 450° F and intermittently flexibly at 500° F. It adheres to most plastics, fiber, aluminum, glass, metal, brick, and slate. It cures without heat and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The product meets the ASTM C920-86 standard. After application, the tooling time is 5 to 10 minutes, the tack-free time is 1 hour, and the cure time is about 24 hours. Elongation is at 400% and joint movement capability is +25%. One tube will provide 16' of 3/16" bead.
