How long does it take this paint to dry? How long do the vapors permit the room? When using vent-free gas fire logs, does the paint give off toxic odors in the room?
The paint requires 2-3 hours to dry. The vapors and fumes will dissipate after the the unit has been fired and the paint cures. This could take up to 2 hours of the appliance operating. After that period you should not have any further odors or fumes from the paint itself. It is advised to open the nearest windows or door to exhaust the fumes during the break in or curing phase.
