    Claire
    from Portland, OR asked:
    November 25, 2019
I will be applying this product outdoors. What are the temperature requirements? Can I apply it on a roof seal in 40 weather? Does it need to cure before it rains?
    1 Answer
This product is not tested or listed for use outdoors. It is suitable for sealing around oven windows, flues on gas appliances, joints, and metal stacks and ductwork. It is an excellent gasket-maker to replace the existing cork and felt rubber and ideal for holding gaskets around stove and fireplace doors. It withstands continuous temperatures up to 260°C or 500°F. It should cure for 24 hours before being exposed to such temperatures.
