Once in place, this item can automatically turn your appliance's blower on and off. This helps regulate temperature more evenly and uses the stove's heated air only as needed. The thermodisc comes with an 8-foot long power cord and installation is simple, making this a useful and easy addition to all sorts of freestanding wood stoves.

Where do u mount the sensor on the fire boxBecause the fire box gets really hot
Depending on the wood stove you are installing this onto, it is recommended to install this between the rear heat shield and the wood stove, or if you have air channels under the firebox, it would be installed in that area. Please reference the installation manual for the specific wood stove you have in regards to the proper placement of the thermo-switch.
