    How much does this glass weigh? And is it approved to place over wood support?

    It weighs 63 pounds. This glass hearth pad will provide the necessary floor protection for appliances that require only ember protection. This product is not to be used with appliances that specify thermal floor protection with a specific R-value requirement.
