Yes, this hearth pad can be placed on carpet. However, please be aware that it is designed for ember protection only and does not offer thermal protection. It should only be used with stoves that do not require a specific R-value for heat protection underneath.

This Type 1 stove board can go down directly onto a wood panel floor for ember protection only. It is not typically adhered to the floor, and more commonly just set in place.
