Moreover, this high-efficiency fireplace insert eliminates the drafty nature of traditional wood-burning fireplaces and replaces it with EPA-certified reliability in heating. Never again will you feed a fire that leaves you with a home that is still chilly- the Osburn 2000 wood fireplace insert uses every scrap of wood to keep you warm from head to toe.
Venting Requirements: This item requires a chimney with 6" inner diameter.

The 8-hour burn time is the time that is based on the testing used to certify the appliance. The 8 hours is referencing the time that 40 pounds of wood were used at the testing facility.
