This electric fireplace is an easy-to-install solution for your problematic chilly room. It will produce up to 5000 BTU of comforting heat and comes in a lovely surround that has the impact of a piece of furniture. The cabinet features an ivory finish and a mantel that can support up to 85 pounds, up to a 42" flat screen TV. It is made from poplar wood, MDF and wood veneer, and some assembly is required. The fireplace uses LED lights to create a realistic flickering flame effect, and the included remote controls both brightness and comfort level. Other features include an adjustable thermostat and a thermal overload protector. Since no combustion takes place, no venting is required, and the glass front remains cool to the touch. The exterior dimensions are 44.75" W x 14" D x 40.25" H.

It does draw 12.5 Amps so it would need to on a breaker that would accommodate that and whatever else you would have on that breaker.

Good Source of Extra Heat
We bought this unit to provide an additional heat source for our condo so that we would not have to run the furnace as much. It came well-packaged, it looks nice, and the fire has a very realistic appearance. We did find the assembly directions a little challenging to follow. It is in our bedroom and so far is doing a good job of providing the extra heat we wanted.
