Does venting have to go straight to the atmosphere? Also what kind of fan kit can I use with this fireplace? Or is a fan not required with this model? What other parts would we need to make this work besides what is included?
This is a direct vent gas fireplace and it can be vented either vertically and terminate over the roof or horizontally and terminate on an exterior wall (depending on the distance from the unit to such a wall). There is no blower available for this model as one is certainly not required. You will need the necessary vent pipe to install and operate the fireplace.

No, the log set is an optional add-on and must be purchased separately. It is the Amantii Deluxe Electric Fireplace Media Kit with 6-Piece Wood Log Set .
