What is the function of the finishing collar?

The Shasta Finishing Collar is used to transition from stove pipe to Shasta chimney pipe. It can be used for through-the-wall installations (when used together with a Wall Thimble and Tee) and installations using the Roof Support. It is used indoors and provides a means of connection.
