Does the Sunstar 8 vent cap prevent rain, snow, animals, and debris from entering the flue? Is it compatible with an 8 inside diameter fireclay flue liner serving a wood stove?
No, this cap is only suitable for select SunStar gas heaters -- it cannot be used on a wood chimney. We should have some cap options for you - you can use our chimney cap virtual assistant here for more information.
