When your masonry chimney needs a little more space, you can use the Stone Age Manufacturing 4" Offset Block for Masonry Chimneys for just that! It creates clearance by shifting the chimney away from obstructions. Those obstructions can be beams or floor joists directly above the fireplace. Installation can be in either a spiral or twisted configuration, depending on what your specific installation requires.
