TherMix Part Numbers: 390142
Item Number: TMX-390142

TherMix provides the perfect solution for tight chimney spaces when it's time to update your fireplace. TherMix's Chimney Liner Insulation Mix provides fantastic heat insulation without requiring overly complicated mixing directions or potentially harmful materials. The vermiculite-based formula pours around your chimney liner to provide a barrier between it and your masonry chimney structure. The added material properly insulates your chimney liner and distributes heat all along the pipe to reduce the likelihood of condensation buildup that could result in excessive creosote.

This mix is intended to fill space between a liner and flue tile.   It is not intended for use between two liner walls.

Is it better to use TherMix 40 Pound Chimney Liner Insulation Mix for a 4 stainless liner on a pellet stove or the 1/2 insulation wrap?

The 1/2" insulation should be used. However, please verify that the liner needs to be insulated as outlined in the installation manual for your pellet stove. Many pellet stoves do not require the chimney liner to be insulated.
