    George
    from Newburgh, NY asked:

My opening is 33†wide. Will the rear legs fit so the screen is flush to the brick surface?
    1 Answer
The rear leveling legs are set inward on the backside of the screen to account for an uneven fireplace floor. As long as the hearth extension where the screen will be placed is somewhat even with the fireplace floor, the back of the screen will indeed rest against the hearth.

    1 Answer
Yes, you would still be able to see the fire through the screen.

what is the width and height of this fireplace screen?
    1 Answer
The tallest point of the screen is 33 inches and the width is 39 inches. Since the screen is made to sit flush against a fireplace opening on a masonry hearth, there are two leveling feet that project out from the back of the screen to account for the typically uneven masonry fireplace floor inside the fireplace opening. There are also legs on the front of the screen that project six inches out on either side for stability.

Is the highest point of the screen 33" or are the sides at 33" tall since there is a curve?
    1 Answer
The highest point of the screen is 33".

    from Beverly Hills, MI asked:

Do the feet extend back behind the screen forcing it away from the fireplace, or does it fit flush up against the fireplace?
    1 Answer
The rear facing stabilizers on this item are inset far enough that the frame will sit flush against a 30-inch opening or larger. If your opening is smaller than 30 inches, the feet would cause the frame to protrude slightly from the facing. Using a smaller screen would help to avoid this scenario.

    Gaps Between Doors
Because I was prompted to report on my satisfaction with this product, the only recommendation I can give on this screen other than the attractive design and that it reflects light is that it works better than the one that came with my fireplace. Otherwise, there is a gap between the doors that allows sparks to escape, the knobs don't line up on the doors, and the screen is flimsy and falls down.

    Online Ordering is Easy
This fireplace screen is a great product. Ordering it online was easy at my local store and the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. The product photos were accurately portrayed on the website and the prices were better than local stores.

    Very Sturdy and Beautiful
I was very pleased that this turned out to be a very sturdy fireplace screen. With its beautiful looks, it adds so much to the dcor of our living room. It was easy to assemble and we love how the doors make accessing the fire safely without moving the whole screen.

    Feet Don't Support Screen Well
We found that the two feet on the front and back of this fireplace screen don't really support the screen when open so we secured it to the fireplace surround with four screws and lead tags so it would stay flush. Its a nice flush screen with doors that work well, and the price was good also.

    Wrinkled Screen Mesh
The fireplace screen mesh was wrinkled which added an old world look along with the brown finish. But the size was perfect for a standard size fireplace opening.

    Does the Job Well
Thank you very much for manufacturing such a beautiful screen to fit my off-white brick fireplace with black mantles. The simple design is just what I was looking for and does the job its supposed to do. I was very happy with the quick shipping also. Keep up the good work!

    Keeps Cats Out
Except for having to work at the legs to keep the screen level, its a beautiful fireplace screen that keeps the sparks inside, it was easy to put together, and stays flush against the wall so our cats can't get inside either. The doors are a nice feature for ease of accessibility.

    Customer Service is Great
I have to say the customer service I received on the phone was great very courteous and knowledgeable - as I needed to be sure of all the details of the product before I purchased it online. I didn't have any problems with assembling it or making sure it was level as others had mentioned before. The cost, attractive design, and density of the screen to keep the sparks controlled are all pluses.

    Problem with Balance
Though it is attractive, it should have been designed to be attached to the fireplace surround to keep it steady. It took me awhile, but I was finally able to attach it to the wall to keep it balanced.
