The panel is very nice - dark bronze that almost looks like a very soft neutral black. It blends very nicely!

Simple, sturdy and attractive
I had an elaborate folding screen that sat away from the fireplace opening and didn't fully cover it. This one sits flat against the fireplace opening, and is a big enough to overlap a couple inches around the end. The dark bronze/brown color blends with the bricks. In summer it's a flat background for furniture moved in front of the fireplace. I haven't used it with a fire yet, but the mesh looks like it will do the jobs of keeping spitting embers in.
Fits flat against fireplace. Stable.
