How translucent is this screen?

This fine mesh screen allows you to view the fire reasonably well. As with any fine mesh, you will lose a bit of detail from the flame, but heat output is not effected.

Simple Style
We shopped around online and in many stores and kept coming back to this screen. We love its simple design and minimalistic style -- plus it is a great value. It is perfect for our fireplace. Modern Design

What is so nice about this curved fireplace screen is that it doesn't tip over or scoot across the floor. It is very sturdy and we are just loving it!
