Poorly Constructed
Steer clear of this product because it is very poorly designed. It is much too lightweight to be effective, and it is essentially a miniature. I gave it to my husband as a Christmas gift, and I was pretty embarrassed when he opened it. It is so bad that my hairbrush would be more effective than the broom!

Tongs Are Tough to Use
When I made the decision to go ahead and start looking for a set of tools to go with my fireplace, it was my understanding that the only real difference to be found when comparing the different sets was design and that the basic quality was the same across the board. I purchased this set online because of the free shipping, but on a whole I can only give it a rating of sufficient. The major issue that I have with this set has to do the difficulty in using the tongs. It essentially takes both hands to operate them.

Good Design
The design of this product is quite nice, and the corresponding weight is perfect. It is a little smaller than the standard set, but it does work well all the same.
