Does this pot have a lid? Can I use it on my wood stove and drink the water?

This product does indeed include a lid as standard. The product is chiefly designed as a humidifier and water should not be consumed from it.

Season Before Use
Make sure to follow proper seasoning techniques to avoid rust and keep the cast iron in good condition. We use ours over an open fire to make hot water for tea, cocoa, and even dishwashing when camping.

Nice Quality
This kettle is heavy and well-made. I'm happy to have it as a replacement for one that rust through after many years of use. I use this on my woodburning stove to evaporate water into the air.
