Is the width of the bottom 10 to fit around the outside of a 10 pipe? Your description says opening height...does that mean the opening where it goes on the pipe is only 7 .
The cap you are looking at is for an air-cooled pipe with an inner diameter of 10". The outer pipe would be larger with no insulation between the pipes.
