Can a fireback be used in a see-thru unit and can the feet be attached to the floor of the firebox so the wind won't knock it over? Should I use glass doors with the fireback?

A fire back can indeed be used in the center of the box, if it is deep enough to accommodate it. Mounting boots can be secured to the hearth with furnace cement. When a fireback is in use, it is recommended to leave glass doors open, as the high amount of directed radiant heat can cause a glass pane to shatter.

Very Pleased
I am very pleased with how well this fireback is made, and how well it helps keep the room warmer. Once hot, the heavy cast iron really radiates much more heat than I expected.

Beautiful Fireback and Fantastic Customer Service
There was an issue with my shipment and they took care of immediately. I received an email that my order shipped but I never received it. They contacted the distributor, realized the label must have fallen off or been damaged and had another sent out right away. The fireback we received was beautiful and of great quality.
