Do you have an animal scene (deer, elk. etc.) in a 17.5" W x 18+" H fireback?

One of the smaller wildlife firebacks we offer can be seen here. This fireback is 20 in. W x 17 in. H.

I am building a home with an exterior masonry fireplace on a covered patio. Can a fireback be used in a see-thru unit and can the feet be attached to the floor of the firebox so the wind won't knock it over? Should I use glass doors with the fireback?
    1 Answers
A fire back can indeed be used in the center of the box, if it is deep enough to accommodate it. Mounting boots can be secured to the hearth with furnace cement. When a fireback is in use, it is recommended to leave glass doors open, as the high amount of directed radiant heat can cause a glass pane to shatter.
