    Bedroom Approved Fireplace Inserts

While it's true that some people prefer to sleep in a cold room, some of us just can't completely relax without being warm and cozy. What if you count yourself one of those people? You're not left out in the cold, or left to fall asleep in front of the living room fireplace.

I have an old fireplace with the dimensions 31 1/2" wide, 31" tall, and 18" deep. We are trying to find a vented insert (2 vent pipes up the chimney) but our codes guy said it can only be natural gas with 10,000 BTUs. Do you offer anything that would work?
    1 Answer
You may further confirm with your local code office as typically the 10,000 BTU max applies mainly to vent free appliances being installed in a bedroom or bathroom installation. The direct vent inserts we offer are at a minimum rated to 20,000 BTU such as the Empire Loft Direct Vent Gas Fireplace Insert with Millivolt Controls.
