    Bedroom Approved Stoves

What do you usually do when your bedroom is cold at night? Do you crank up your central heat? Do you pull in a space heater? The problem with central heat is that it warms the entire house, and you're wasting a ton of energy just to bring one single room up to a comfortable temperature. For your money, a stove is likely the most energy-efficient and cost-efficient way to heat your home - and you can focus the heat on one room.

We are in need of a small low wood stove; one is able to cook on top and also heat an area. This is to be placed in a fireplace with a height of 35 inches opening.

While we do not offer any wood burning inserts approved for installation in a bedroom, we do offer the Napoleon EPA Wood Burning Fireplace Insert - EPI-1402 which features a cooking surface. This insert must be installed only into a solid fuel burning fireplace that is at least 14 inches deep 26 inches wide and 22 inches high with an approved lined chimney at least 15 feet high (4.6m) and a hearth of 16"”.
