Can denatured alcohol be used in your fireplaces?
    1 Answer
Ethanol is technically denatured alcohol, but not all denatured alcohol would be safe for use with an ethanol fireplace as some products have additives that would release toxic fumes into your home while burning. Check with the manufacturer of any denatured alcohol product you are considering to ensure that it would be safe for use with an indoor ethanol fireplace.

A television could be mounted above the fireplace, but it would require a mantel between the two.
