There is no ash pan or grate on this unit. Adding a grate would damage the stove. Click here to view our stoves with ash pans.

Buck model 21,is just a wonderful stove!
We bought a Buck model 21 wood stove in 2018,and we love it.I can’t say enough good thing’s about the stove,it’s just wonderful.It burn’s wood low & slow once you get a good fire cooking in the box.It’s made of very high craftsmanship.It seem’s to be a very durable and forgiving wood burning stove, the model 21.Yes,I would recommend anybody debating about buying one to go ahead and give in and buy it you won’t be disappointed with your purchase.I have given it 5 star’s b/c it’s just such a good buy.
