All fireplace or insert blowers will produce a noticeable hum, even when they are advertised as quiet. If any blower becomes noisy over time, this is usually resulting from a lack of maintenance. Because fireplace and insert blowers draw in air near the floor, they also draw in dust and pet dander, etc., and subsequently require annual cleanings. Also, you may only use the blower that has been tested and listed for your appliance, so I recommend simply purchasing the same blower and maintaining it annually.

Fit and runs as advertised

Blower assembly delivered quickly. Came with everything needed to Install. Once i figured out that the pre installed thermostat in the ZCBBB36 unit controlled when the blower actually cut on and off (which was not mentioned in the instructions) all went smoothly. Is a little loud, but not horrible. Made a big difference in the heat distribution into the room and warm our home quickly.
