Hi, do you know how many volts this motor runs on?
This fan requires direct contact with the hot surface of a wood burning appliance in order for there to be enough temperature differential for the electric thermal pad to generate current to power the motor. As such, it will only work for a wood burning insert or wood stove.

Very easy to install
After five-plus years of service, my Ecofan was starting to give out. I didn't want to buy a new fan, so I looked into a replacement motor. After some confusion about the motor I needed (contacting the Ecofan website was helpful in clearing this up), I ordered it and swapped it out in about ten minutes.

We love our eco fans! Nothing is made to last forever these days but at least they make a replacement fan that my husband easily installed and has been working for the last month. It was -11 this morning so I'm so glad the fan is working to push the heat thru the house!

Easy Peasy to replace.
Very simple to replace and instructions were included. Took 5 minutes and fan back up and running at full speed.
On sale, $5 off was great, but the $24.95 shipping and handling on such a small light weight item is a "catch 'em, hold 'em, skin 'em move. Why bother to put the item on sale?
