This rain cap combines the weather protection of a hood with the ventilation and animal exclusion provided by the steel mesh. Rain and animals are kept out of your new chimney system and there is plenty of ventilation for the combustion products. This item works with the 5.5" HomeSaver UltraPro system and is designed to be used with a collar plate in order to form a secure terminus. Its band connection makes pop rivets or screws unnecessary. The part is also available in sizes from 3" to 8".
