I would like to verify that this connector would work in my fireplace. I am trying to connect 3/8th" pipe on both sides in the hearth right next to the gas logs and fire. Will this product handle the heat?Please see attached picture.

One end of this connector has a 3/8" fitting to connect to the unit and the other has a 1/2" fitting to connect to the gas supply line.

Good Product
I bought this with a gas log set for installation. It came a smaller diameter than I expected (3/8") and the tag on it indicated that maybe it would not support the btu rating of my log set. I ended up using it to install a heater in my garage instead. The included black fittings are a nice touch. Some more information on the website regarding size and capacity would be helpful.

I purchased a fireplace log set from HD and the gas line it came with was virtually unusable. Great flex line
This product is exactly as advertised. It is quiet, no humming, and installed easily. The flex line is easy to bend the way you want it, with no kinking. Before, I tried to use aluminum tubing that came with the gas log set, but that was a waste of time. After struggling with that I just bought this line. The line is black and blends in nicely in the background of my fireplace.
