Product Details
This Cast Iron Insert Boot by HomeSaver allows for connection from one type of HomeSaver Pro or Ultra Pro 6 in. diameter chimney liner pipe. This insert boot is used when your insert exhaust dimensions are substantially different from those of the straight and offset insert adaptor. Made of 18 gauge 304 alloy stainless steel, you simply bolt the boot to the top of your insert and fit your insert boot into it. When installing an insert boot, be sure it is centered over the opening of the insert exhaust.
Please Note: This insert boot requires the use of an insert boot adaptor which is NOT INCLUDED with the purchase of this item. The insert boot adaptor must be purchased separately and is listed at the bottom of this product page.
Also Note: HomeSaver can only be sold and shipped to general contractors or licensed chimney sweeps. Orders to the general public cannot be fulfilled. If you have a contractor please provide his name and address. This will need to be shipped directly to the contractor. The manufacturer will not make exceptions.
Customer Q&A with Product Specialists
Steffen
from asked:
What are the bolt location dimensions for this cast-iron insert boot? I need to verify if it will fit my Country Comfort CC3005.
This insert boot does not have published bolt hole or mounting pattern dimensions. It is designed to be centered over your insert's exhaust opening and bolted in place during installation, rather than matching a pre-drilled pattern for a specific insert brand or model.
The published dimensions are: Outside 10-1/8 inches W x 15-3/8 inches L x 5-3/8 inches H, and the inside opening is 9-1/8 inches x 14-3/4 inches.
We do not have data confirming this fits the Country Comfort CC3005 specifically, as fit depends on whether your insert's exhaust opening falls within the inside dimensions listed above. We recommend measuring your insert's exhaust opening against these dimensions or having a local NFI certified installer confirm fit before ordering. You can find a local installer here: NFI Certified Installer.
Please note that this boot also requires a separate insert boot adapter, which is not included and must be purchased separately.
