How do you cap the outside wall where the thimble goes through?
This thimble is used when passing stovepipe through a combustible wall into a masonry chimney. The stovepipe will pass through the center of this thimble and terminate even with the inside of the masonry flue. It is not designed to provide passage from inside the home to the exterior.
