If your damper plate is damaged, changing your damper plate does not have to be complicated, simply pull out your old one and slide this new one in place. Designed to be used for either poker or rotary-style controls , this damper plate will get your fire burning brightly once again.

We carry this 42" replacement damper plate for the Vestal damper, but it measures 34.5" x 7"

How thick is the cast iron material that the damper plate is made of?
The nominal thickness of the cast damper plates is 1/4". Slight differences in the manufacturing of the plate can result in slightly thinner or thicker spots.
