Yes that pipe is allowed to be used in a chase or an in wall (Behind the wall) installation. When passing thru a ceiling or wall added components will be used.

High quality Flue pipe
I would give a 5 star but was not packed very well and had a few dents had to to straighten out at the pipe ends. They were just loose in a big cardboard box.
