Can you attach your gas igniter to a propane tank to safely start a standard wood burning fireplace inside a home?

You can indeed use an LP tank to fuel this log lighter, as long as the tank is located outdoors and positioned at least 10 feet from any source of potential ignition.

Awesome Fireplace Log Lighter!!!
Easily installed onto existing pipe and works very well. Flame burns evenly across all holes in the pipe. My last log-lighter was the same one it last almost 7 years and we have many, many blazing fires!!!
