*Venting Requirements: This unit requires venting pipe with an inner diameter of 5 Inches. Please see the Venting Components section on this page if available for venting pipe that must be used with this unit. Sometimes it is tricky to meet UL standards but this DuraFlex SS Tee makes it possible and simple to meet the UL 1777 standard for proper ventilation of your masonry chimney or wood burning appliance. If you have any experience at all with wood burning appliances, you know that over time there can be build up and it needs to be cleaned out or prevented. You can prevent the buildup in your chimney by installing a liner with the proper tools and accessories. The stainless steel tee with clamp band and removable take-off are to be used with a 5-inch chimney liner and DuraVent DuraFlex zero clearance insulation sleeve in order to be effective. Perfect
Fits the liner perfectly and makes the 90 degree turn a snap. Just take it apart and slip the vertical down the chimney into the adjustable band on the horizontal sleeve, and tighten it up. Does need about 5 1/4 inches for clearance.
