What is the max working temperature of this product?

That is a stove adapter for a wood stove and you would operate the wood stove according to the owner's manual. The adapter has an 18-inch clearance to combustibles. The manufacturer does not provide a temperature rating on this item but it is made of 24 gauge steel.

Precise Measurements is a Must
A fine piece of metal work, to be sure, but be certain that you measure precisely the "appliance" for which you intend to use this adapter. It DOES NOT fit a Vermont Castings stove oval to 8" round adapter. For the Defiant stove, at least, buy Item #CPF-69095, the Dura-Black skirted adapter. It works perfectly, and looks great, too.
