I need to re-position the stove a few inches forward and I'm trying to avoid using an offset box. Will this "Dura-Black 6-Inch Diameter Welded Steel Stovepipe Elbow - 45-Degree" work with a Drolet Escape 1800i insert and 6" chimney liner?
    1 Answer
This offset could be used, as long as the end of the elbow is crimped with a pipe crimper. An option with greater longevity would be the HomeSaver UltraPro 45 Degree Elbow with Band Connection for 6 inch Chimney Liner. This elbow already has a crimped end, is stainless steel, and has a built in clamp for attachment to the liner.
