The space required for this pipe is merely 6" from walls and 8" from ceilings. The pipe warms more quickly and retains heat longer with its double stainless steel wall construction. Also, this product enhances the stove's efficiency by both venting exhaust and pre-heating incoming air. The pipe features a .016" stainless steel inner wall and .018" galvanized outer wall and is painted in a sleek black finish. This pipe has adjustable lengths convenient for Your situation, and comes with a 25 year warranty.

How do you adjust this Dura-Vent DVL 6-inch double-wall black adjustable stove pipe? Am I supposed to cut it?
Unlike most all single wall stovepipe, double wall stovepipe carries a UL listing and cannot be cut. This section can be used with any straight section of DVL stovepipe to provide 2" to 11" of adjustment. Once the desired length is achieved and the connection is made to another section of DVL or Duratech chimney component, the telescoping section is secured in place with screws to the rigid section of stovepipe it is used with.
