A decorative collar provides a finished look where the chimney pipes meet or pass through a wall. This collar by DuraTech is appropriate for use with the 6" DuraTech chimney pipe system and comes with a sleek black finish that will complement any decor. The DuraTech chimney pipe collar will connect to DVL and Dura-Black Stovepipe adaptors as well, and its use is required in installations that use a wall thimble. Protect your home by making sure that any chimney installation follows the manufacturer's instructions as well as all applicable safety codes.

Stove project
First off,I completely gutted my garage and making a Great room out of this space. For heat I chose a wood burning stove.I purchased two finishing collars,one on the inside of room and one on the outside.Along with these collars,I bought 16 ' of stove pipe for this project. (elbows,thimble etc.)Every thing went together good.The stove is in and their's a good draft for the heat to rise.
